Davide DiPaolo , Italian Portfolio Manager from Monsieur Touton Selection, will be returning with a special guest. Francesca Vallone, wine maker and family owner of Terre Nere Winery, from Brunello di Montalcino, will join us for a special tasting of Brunello!

Francesca Vallone represents the new generation of Brunello di Montalcino. Together with her father and her brother, she leads the Terre Nere estate, located on the south-east side of Montalcino, where tradition and vision come together in a project rooted in identity, authenticity, and deep respect for the land. Her passion for wine was born through experience: visiting wineries across different territories, building friendships within the wine world, and immersing herself in the culture of viticulture. This journey led her to formal training as a sommelier and a Master’s program in International Wine Marketing, strengthening both her technical knowledge and global perspective.

Francesca joined the family business in 2010 and today oversees production, cellar management, and commercial development. Under her guidance, Terre Nere has embraced a philosophy centered on organic viticulture and on enhancing the pure expression of Sangiovese, the iconic grape of Brunello di Montalcino. The wines stand out for their elegance, depth, and strong territorial identity. For Francesca, making wine means preserving a family heritage while having the courage to innovate. She promotes a conscious and passionate wine culture, capable of creating meaningful connections between people, flavors, and place. Each glass of Terre Nere becomes a story of Montalcino — authentic, refined, and deeply rooted in its land — transforming every tasting into a true sensory journey.

We will be tasting 4 wines from Terre Nere.

Rosso di Montalcino and 3 Brunello di Montalcino. The wines are an elegant expression of Brunello and I am excited for all of you to taste and speak to Francesca!!
