Rose Franciacorta,Contaldi Castadi
65% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir
An original Franciacorta, in a modern style, making skillful use of the pinot nero grapes. The nose has clear notes of wild berries, fresh rose petals, hints of apple and tropical fruit. The mouth is structured, crisp and lively, tangy and sensually upbeat. The finish is long and well balanced.
Nascetta,Arnaldo Rivera
100% Nascetta grapes
A really interesting white wine from the Piedmont. Crisp and fresh with green apple, pear , citrus flavors. Aromas of honeysuckle and a long finish.
Barbaresco IAGO, Mura Mura
100% Nebbiolo grapes
This has become one of my favorite producers of the Piedmont. Aromas of ripe red berries, and dried violets. Medium body with vibrant red fruit.
Bolgheri Rosso, Michele Satta
30% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Syrah, 10% Teroldego
An excellent full bodied red with flavors of black currants, plums, black cherries, vanilla , chocolate and hints of spice. James Suckling: 94 points
Rosso Campania , Galardi Terra di Lavoro
80% Aglianico 20% Piedirosso
I am very excited to introduce you all to this wine. Terra di Lavoro is one of the most famous wines from Campania. This wine always scores in the upper 90s with all of the critics and I agree with them.
Vinous Media 97
Flat-out stunning, the 2019 Terra di Lavoro entices with a dramatic bouquet that blends wild blueberries with crushed violets, cloves, dried orange peels and a lovely whiff of sweet smoke. This is a model of elegance, velvety yet cool-toned in feel. A vibrant, acidic core keeps masses of ripe red and black fruits in constant play. Its tannins are chiseled, creating a crunchy sensation, and while structured for the long haul, the wine remains amazingly fresh and graceful.  There’s a level of refinement and balance here that tempts the imagination. The 2019 is not to be missed.
James Suckling 97
The polished oak hits the nose straight away, but then comes a fabulous array of black fruit with dark plums,  blackcurrants and berries, as well as some coffee cream and chocolate. Full-bodied and intense with silky layers of  fruit, dark chocolate and fine, grainy tannins that pick up a lot of the fruit and savory flavors, driving to a long finish.
