Named after an old country church located next to the very first vineyard they purchased, this family owned winery started in 1962 and is now run by brothers Michele and Luigi Gasparetto.
Prosecco DOC
100% Glera Grapes
Great refreshing prosecco for the summer
FROM THE ERMANNO COSTA WINERY, PIEMONTE:
Ermanno Costa’s grandfather, Pietro, worked these vineyards as a sharecropper (mezzadria) in the 1950’s. Twenty eight years later his son purchased the property seeking to make wines with their family’s name on the bottle
Balin
100% Chardonnay grapes.
This chardonnay is fermented and vinified in stainless steel. Only 3,800 bottles made. This chardonnay has excellent ageing potential
FROM THE LA CA’ NOVA WINERY , PIEMONTE:
“La Ca’ Nova” means “la casa nuova” or “the new house,” built in the 1800s on top of the hills of the prestigious Montestefano and Montefico vineyards. The Rocca family has farmed here for over 100 years, starting in the 1920s as sharecroppers (mezzadria)
We will be tasting 2 single vineyard Barbaresco wines
Barbaresco Montefico
100% Nebbiolo grapes
The 2015 Barbaresco Montefico Vigna Bric Mentina is powerful, but not austere as it can be. Rose petal, lavender and chalk notes all develop with time. Beams of Montefico tannin give the wine its energy and overall shape.

Barbaresco Montestefano
100% Nebbiolo grapes
Black cherry, plum, sage, lavender, menthol, licorice and spice take on exotic shades of expression. Barbaresco that will drink well with minimal cellaring. What a gorgeous wine this is.
