We will be tasting 5 wines:

From Sicily:
Tornatore Etna Bianco
100% Carricante grapes
A delicious white from the Mt. Etna region.  Aromas of white peach, grapefruit and fresh herbs.  Flavors of ripe melon , tangerine and dried herbs.  One of my favorite new whites.

From Tuscany:
 Argiano Non Confunditur
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, syrah, Sangiovese – Full bodied , persistent finish.  Flavors of deep dark fruit and dried herbs

From Venezia-Giulia:
Jerman, Pinot Nero Red Angel
100% Pinot Noir Grapes
An elegant pinot nero.  Red berries, baking spices, slight taste of coffee.  A crowd favorite

From the Veneto:
Allegrini La Grola Veronese
90% Corvina and 10% Oseleta grapes
This savory wine bursts with plum, cassis and chocolate aromas that follow through to the taut, elegant palate alongside hints of bell pepper and black pepper. It’s fresh and still tightly wound, with firm, velvety tannins. Drink through 2024.

Allegrini Amarone
45% Corvina, 45% Corvinone, 5% Rondinella, 5 % Oseleta
Exotic spice, mature black-skinned fruit, espresso and French oak are just some of the aromas you’ll find on this delicious, full-bodied red. WE 94 Pts

A warmly spiced nose of plum liqueur, roasting herbs, chestnuts, fruit cake, dried figs, cedar, tobacco, baking spices, treacle and toasted oak. Full-bodied with some sweetness, round tannins, a pretty serving of acidity and a long finish.
