We will be tasting 6 wines from the Piemonte Region

Nebbiolo, Sandrone
100% Nebbiolo grapes
From a fantastic Barolo producer.   Lovely notes of red rose and some herbal tones appear on the nose of the 2017 Nebbiolo d’Alba Valmaggiore, coupled with balsam, spice and rosemary.
Robert Parker 92Pts

Barbaresco , Pio Cesare
100% nebbiolo  grapes
“Pio Cesare’s 2014 Barbaresco is bright, articulate and very attractive. Hints of citrus, wild flowers and white pepper add aromatic lift to this nuanced, mid-weight Barbaresco. The 2014 is a bit lithe in feel, but it has enough persistence to drink well for another decade or so.” Antonio Galloni 91 Pts

From Alto Adige and Friuli  Region

Ferrari Brut
100 % Chardonnay Grapes
You can’t have a holiday without a little bubbly from Italy’s top producer.

Ferrari Brut Rose
Chardonnay & Pinot Nior Grapes
My favorite sparkling Rose perfect for Thanksgiving dinner

Sauvignon Blanc, Attems
100 % Sauvignon Blanc Grapes
A fresh and easy sauvignon with sliced apple and pear character. Some lime and herbs. Medium body. Crisp and lightly phenolic texture at the end. James Suckling 90Pts

Tuscany  Region

SuperTuscan, Arcanum “Il Fauno”
59% Merlot, 30%Cabernet Franc, 9%Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot
This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot opens with earthy aromas of charred earth, toasted oak and ripe dark-skinned fruit. The dense palate offers prune, tobacco and mocha alongside fine-grained tannins.
